ACCUPUNCTURE 4 months later

How much would my life change in 4 months? I asked and knew I had to start packing.

Todays accupuncture sheet reminded me of just how much I’ve done since that last heart acupuncture treatment in September. September was really my journey to here. To the Pasadena bungalow.

I knew I had to leave the valley.

Apples and honey, honey cake and tea for Christine.

The last of my artichokes.

Dear Mary. My studio friend and housemate. I was really moving, how crazy that sounded! I was really in for a lot of stress. She was so encouraging.
One of many motel stays.
This motel in particular was a whore house? Maybe?
It brought up memories of my mother calling me a noodle girl for being easy.
You want to eat sushi on the top of Hollywood looking out at the sea. Not some floozy they take you to get noodles….. 😱 omg.

My giant lavender almost 10 years old.

Leaving the valley

An air bib stay. At LINDAS.
she charged me extra for being gay.

Drawings for new pieces started I’d know I’d be without my studio….

Angels at Linda’s

Keith Haring retrospective exhibition at the broad. Of corse I went twice.

The house where I raised little ray. Into the new bigger ray house.

OCTOBER

The month of October. I didn’t know where or how I’d be living in Pasadena, I was floating.
Living in motels and hotels. Living with Christine. By my dads yahrzeit I’d found the house I was going to live in. I made an offer.
Started taking accupuncture herbs and ginseng for stress.

Started seeing therapist Jeremy

Me and Christine started watching THE SOPRANOS

My first photo of Jackson street, I’d had a dream about it the night before. Wrote about it here. The lemon dream.

Me and ray making rubber bands bracelets.

Visited my old apartment.

Moved to Pasadena officially in October. In motels.

Visited Whole Foods with my heart wracked with stress.

Drank and felt so so stressed here. Found a therapist again. Returning to Pasadena.
California poppy drops were helpful and echinacea.

We celebrated with ray with him visiting. Halloween! Seasonal joys.

My motel bed.

Living from a box.

Meeting at the eclipse after Christine’s haircut. My very favorite cafe.

Pride in the eclipse. Groundwork coffee.

After the eclipse I saw Jackson street. I felt at home.
